“I am extremely proud of our Year 11 GCSE students, who have reached their potential across all their subjects at The Leigh UTC. We have improved our performance year on year. Following on from the excellent post-16 results last week, and the large number of students taking up further career opportunities within STEM I am proud to say we continue this trend at GCSE with all of our students taking up with P16 courses here with us, employment or apprenticeships. As this is only our fourth year of results, it’s extremely impressive to see how fast our UTC is developing.”
Steve Leahey, Principal The Leigh UTC
“I’m delighted to congratulate the students on their results this year. It’s extremely encouraging to see the positive learning experience and support provided by the dedicated team at The Leigh UTC translating into opportunities for students to realise their highest potential. The results also continue to show the benefits of a business-led problem-solving curriculum, which is so important for employers and young people at the start of their careers.”
