The Leigh UTC offers students aged over 16 two different progression routes to choose from.
These are for students who have gained at least five GCSEs at grade A*–C (including maths and English). They both involve studying our specalisms as A Level 3 course and A-levels but each route has a different bias towards professional (more academic) and technical (more hands-on) activities.
Retake options are available for GCSE maths and English language.
This route is studied over two years and is aimed at students who want to take A-levels in maths, a science subject and possibly computing, as well as their specialism. It can lead to studying in higher education, for example, at a university, employment or a higher apprenticeship.
