At The Leigh UTC, we are incredibly proud of our year 11 students. Having joined us in September 2019, they have had a very challenging two years with us and we have been astounded by the resilience and tenacity they have shown with every obstacle they have faced. Our students should be proud of all their achievements.
We have a number of students joining us for Post 16, with others going on to take Apprenticeships or courses in other Post 16 settings.
Waleed achieved eight GCSEs at grades 9-5, including grades 98 in combined science and Distinction in IT.
[Left] Jayson achieved eight GCSEs at grade 4 and above, with a Distinction* in Engineering. [Right] Blake achieved eight GCSEs at grades 7 and above including grade 9s in combined science and maths and Distinction* in Engineering.
Syed achieved seven GCSEs at grades 7 and above including grade 9s in Physics, Maths and Chemistry.
Stephen and Abimbola both achieved eight GCSEs at grades 6 and above including 99 in combined science.
Ellie achieved eight GCSEs at grade 4 and above including a grade 6 in English Literature.
