Red Nose Day 2022

Dear Parents/Carers,

On Friday 18th March the UTC and Inspiration academy is inviting the staff and students to ‘wear something red with your business dress’ in support of Red Nose day for Comic Relief. We would like all staff and students to wear their normal business dress/uniform with an addition of a red item of clothing e.g. a tie. It is important that the same high standards of dress and behaviour is followed, no hoodies, no trainers and no dyeing of hair/face painting. Please note this is not a non-uniform day, school attire along with an item of red would be appropriate.

All staff and students will be asked to donate a minimum of £1 to Comic Relief. In addition, a number of activities have been arranged for the day to help raise as much money as we can. You can donate via Comic Relief fundraising page

This year we’ve set ourselves a target of £500. However much we raise will help to change lives, both here in the UK and worldwide.

In fact, £50 could provide training to a pre-school teacher and a health volunteer to help improve the health, wellbeing and education of young children in Kenya. £500 could get 2,000 meals to children and families most in need in the UK.

We will also be using Red Nose Day as a learning opportunity to explore the issues facing young people across the world and how the money we raise can help.

We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll help us raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.

Yours faithfully,

Miss Chapman
