The Leigh UTC are extremely proud of the efforts of our students in such a challenging year. They have demonstrated extremely high levels of resilience and tenacity in all of their studies over the last two years. Results day this year has been a real celebration of effort and achievement with our students leaving us for a range of universities and level 3 and 4 apprenticeships.
Our students have continued to excel in the IBCP, with 100% students receiving the full certificate, with more students achieving the higher grades of 6 and 7 (equivalent A-A*) than ever before. 67% of students achieved Double Distinction or higher in Level 3 BTEC Engineering. 67% Achieved A-B in A Level Maths. All of our students are leaving for Apprenticeships, Universities or employment. 96% of our students are undertaking STEM pathways.

She achieved the IBCP with Distinction Distinction in Computer Science, Grade 7 in Higher English Language and Literature, Grade 7 in Higher ITGS and A in Reflective Project. He achieved the IBCP with Distinction Distinction in Level 3 Engineering, Grade 6 in Higher English Language and Literature, Grade 4 in Higher Design Technology and C in Reflective Project.

Elliot is undertaking a degree in Architectural Design Technology at the University of East London. He achieved Merit Pass in Engineering, 3 in IB Maths Applications, D in A Level Biology and D in EPQ.
