On Friday 10 December we’re inviting all pupils to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. The whole school will be taking part and going full-on festive in our TinselKnits and JollyJingleJumpers for the day. Students are required to wear their normal uniform but will be allowed to wear one additional ‘Christmassy’ item. We’re asking pupils to make a £1 donation, or whatever they can give, to help save children’s lives around the world. The money they raise will go to Save the Children, making sure every child, no matter where they’re born, has essentials like food and water, healthcare, education, protection and shelter. All your child needs to do is wear a festive jumper and donate the suggested £1 donation via https://christmas.savethechildren.org.uk/fundraising/cjd210024775
There’s no need to splash out on snazzy new sweaters to join in the fun you could borrow or dress up an old woolly jumper with a few decorations. We’d really appreciate your support to make Christmas Jumper Day a success – it’s a great cause, and together we can make a difference.
This day is not compulsory and students do not have to take part, however if your child does not take part it is important to note that they should wear their full school uniform as this is not a non-uniform day.
