Year 9 MYP Graduation & Community Project Exhibition – Friday 14th July 2023
It is my pleasure to invite you to our annual graduation event for year 9 to celebrate their achievements as they have progressed through the IB Middle Years Programme.
The event will take place on Friday 14th July starting at 14:00.
The MYP Community Project exhibition will take place from 14:15 until 15:15. Parents and carers are invited to explore the projects that all year 9 students have been working on as part of the ‘Service and Action’ element of the MYP framework. Students have been exploring challenges in society linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. They have been tasked with being ‘agents of change’ by raising awareness through a project of their choice. If you have not yet heard from your child about their community project, please do ask them about it!
The Graduation awards ceremony will follow from 15:15 until approximately 16:00 . A number of students will be presented with awards for their achievements in line with the MYP framework, including Subject awards, IB Learner Profile awards and an MYP Community Project award.
We hope that you will be able to attend. Please can you complete this short Google Form by Monday 26th June to let us know if you are able to attend and also how many guests we can expect.
